Once Dave has left with the other mainly-wolf people, you decide to sit under a tree to think about what is happening to you. As you sit, a young child approaches you. The child is mainly wolf with the exception of most of her face and her tiny hands. "You know what?" the child asks. "Dave said that one day I'll get to go find newies too, but...not now. He's gonna wait til' I'm almost as strong as him. Then he said we'd go out together!" The child curls herself onto your lap, not waiting for permission. "Dave is a really cool guy. He's kinda like a dad, or a REALLY REALLY big brother!" After her last comment the child seems content to just rest.
"Why are you here?" You slowly ask her. " 'Cause I got no place else to go", she replies calmly. "No, I mean how did you get here?" you explain. "Walked", she replies. "Okay, lets start off with something a little different. What's your name?" You ask her. "I don't have one 'cause no-one named me, 'cause I lived alone outside. Then I found a weird looking thingie and I went in it. Then i started changing. Then I found Dave and he brung me here. But I like to be called Sniper, 'cause Dave told me 'bout his gun and stuff and Sniper is the coolest word." After Sniper finishes talking she makes her way to a hollowed out log to sleep with the other young ones.
In the morning, most of the changing people from last night are mainly wolf, though you yourself have made little progress, which in some ways disappoints you. A group of mainly-wolves led by Dave walks through the trees with their kill. Not long after they arrive, Sniper and the children/pups are gathered around them. Sniper begs to hear how Dave caught the kill and the rest of the cubs beg for food.
After you eat and the children/pups are off playing, 'Dave and the Hunters', it starts to sprinkle lightly.
