(Clock reads 3:47 PM. LAP DISSOLVE TO: Clock reading 3:32 AM. PULL BACK TO: Medium shot of sleepy werewolves.)
"And that," yawns Fred, "is why I think we'll see a two-for-one split within the next three months."
So far nothing has changed, and you are about to suggest that your plan isn't working when Lengths' booming voice jolts you and Fred awake.
"What are you DOING?!" screams Lengths. "Trying to put the audience to sleep? My sponsors are all threatening to pull out! This is supposed to be a cartoon. You're supposed to be entertaining. Now stop with the #!&@$%# talk show and make with the comedy!"
"Forget it, Lengths!" you retort. "We're giving you a 'talking heads' show until you let us out."
"Is that so?" asks Lengths menacingly. "We'll just see about that. Don't forget that I wield absolute control over your universe." Suddenly the background begins to shift and blur.
