Up: Game 2  Up: Game 2 Outline

Despite all your rage . . .

The kitchen fades away, replaced within seconds by what appears to be a holding cell. You and Fred quickly notice, however, that it is surrounded by wide-eyed children munching on peanuts and popcorn. As you put two and two together, Fred emits a howl of intense frustration.

"I remember this!" he shouts. This is the episode where they get put in a circus and have to perform for the neighbourhood children!"

You stare at Fred in bewilderment. "Who, us? How can you remember this when it's happening right now?"

Fred grimaces. "This is supposed to be a cartoon from the 1970s, right? Well, I'm sure that I saw this in syndication at some point. If only I could remember what they did to escape!"

You assume that he means the werewolves in the cartoon and therefore you. Fred racks his brain but then falls back against the bars of the cage and sighs. "It's no use. I can't remember anything else, so we'll have to wing it."

Your first two ideas are to try bending the bars and to enlist the children for help. Both ideas are risky, though, because a moustachioed ringmaster stands off to the distance, watching your every move. You marvel at the fact that you and Fred were able to talk uninterrupted, but you wonder if it is only a matter of time before more trouble comes. What do you do?
