Game 3 | Game 3 Outline |
Roger gently shakes you awake when the sun starts to rise. Tired and irritable from lack of sleep, you start off in the direction Red Riding Hood indicated.
Or was it? To be honest, you aren't too confident on that point, because you'd been trying to cope with who she was rather than where she was pointing. It looks about right, though, and it probably wouldn't be a good idea to worry Roger. The pair of you stride boldy on through the forest.
After about three hours of trudging through dense undergrowth, Roger eventually plucks up courage and asks, "Are you sure this is the right way?" Despite your sinking heart, you nod decisively. "Yes. Must be."
"But," Roger still looks worried, "it's been hours!"
"She never said how long it would take, did she?"
"Oh." Roger subsides into silence again, but then pipes up, "I'm hungry."
"So am I." you growl. Roger is starting to annoy you, and you've got the unpleasant feeling that you are indeed lost.
"Shouldn't we eat then?"
"We don't have anything to eat!"
Roger looks around, his head revolving on his snakelike neck. "Perhaps we could ask someone?" he suggests tentatively.
"What, we should just ask the nearest tree?" you snarl sarcastically. "There is no-one around. This is a forest, not a town!" Sighing, you turn and carry on. Roger follows, his head bowed.
You'd better find food quick, you decide. Something tells you that a hungry dragon may not be as safe as a full dragon, and you don't want to end up as a menu option.
