You go into the back of the room behind some old tapestries. There you discover that the room goes back quite a ways. You stalk through the dimly lit dusty room.
Sure enough, there's a bunch of boxes and assorted paraphenalia here. In fact, this section of the room looks more like a storage area than anything else. There's a few armoires, like the one by the bath that had you original clothes, but theres also a couple of suits of armour, an odd hat or two, a big overstuffed victorian bed, what appears to be lab equipment, riding tack, cooking equipment a crib with various stuffed animals in it, a book shelf and a writing desk. You notice to your irritation that while there are shoes, they're either sized for men, or they don't look anymore sensible than your blighted boots.
There may be more, but you hear someone panting his way up the stairs.
