You trek down a long corridor which ends in a large stone door, after a few minutes of trying to move it you decide to give up and try another door, as you are about to turn round you hear a rumbling and the way back is blocked by a stone door similar to the one you were just trying to open, you begin to search for a way out when you hear a deafening shriek from somewhere in the room you are trying to access and the door slides away as if it weighed as much as a feather and you cautiously enter the room.
The room itself looks like a large opera hall but without the spectator stands, and the walls are comprised entirely of marble. As you step over the threshold the same slab of stone closes behind you once again and you are trapped in the dome shaped room which strangely is lit up even though there no torches on the walls, you also notice that you are not casting a shadow.
You notice a dip in the floor in the middle of the room which is surrounded by strange markings, symbols and carvings, you also notice that there are several holes high up in the ceiling, leading away from the room horizontally in every direction, as you look up at these all of a sudden a huge bird-like creature soars out from one of the holes in the ceiling and lands on the floor next to you , “certainly taking our sweet time aren’t we” the griffin says impatiently “your supposed to stand in the centre platform” “why”, you ask trembling “so you will become one of us” the griffin says softly in her feminine and shrill voice. You refuse and back away, the griffin gets impatient and mutters ”one little spell wont hurt” , and as she looks into your eyes , your will disappears and you don’t question her as she commands you to stand in the dome in the floor, you obey and as soon as you are in the middle you feel a strange sensation and your body begins to change….
You keel over and begin to sprout feathers all along your body, the front of your face elongates into a large beak, your hands and feet change into taloned lizard like claws (with three toes each) and you grow a tail out of the back of your spine, lastly you sprout two enormous and powerful wings from where your shoulders used to be, then your mind changes, your senses (particularly your eyesight) sharpen to an unbelievable degree , as new senses and natural instincts flood your mind and you begin to lose some of the memories of your former self, after a few minutes , you decide not to fight it, soon your human mind is gone, the change is complete.
When you awake you stand up to see the other griffin who first greeted you sat a few metres away cleaning her feathers , when she realizes that you are awake, she stands and calls to you in your new language “your finally awake then” , she surveys your body and replies “well, you certainly have been taking a beauty nap, your quite handsome” ,you then follow her through the hole in the ceiling from which she earlier emerged.
