The Visitor

You feel the warmth of sunlight crossing over your bare face, and under you you feel something relatively soft, like a cot, and over you a blanket that covers you to your chest. The light pulls you into wakefulness as it starts burrowing into your eyes, and as you recall what happened, you quickly sit up.

You are in a barren room, devoid of everything save the cot, a window, and a partitioned area which apparently is the toilet. A solid wooden door stands across from the window, closed, without any devices on the inside to allow an exit.

Movement catches your eyes from a corner near the door, as a creature with fur the same color as the stone walls moves, unfurling its tail from around itself so that you can see its feline face and humanoid body. Its tail comes to rest around its feet as it crouches against the wall, looking up at you with blazing blue eyes ...
