Why do angry mobs always turn up at the worst moments

It's the cafe owner from the village. "Hey fellers!" he calls "Ol' Firestarter's trapped under all his gold! He's at our mercy! What do we do with him before we take back our gold?"

"Cut his head off!" comes a voice from an angry mob that is coming intothe cave.

"Tickle his feet more!"

"Give him a hotfoot!

"Put his fire out!"

"Paint his claws pink!"
