Living Poison by Night

You sit alone in the darkness, for a length of time you do not know. Rue begins to grow around you, the only plant that can withstand your poison. You feel as if you have exhausted all of your options. You slowly turn your head to the wall on your right. It is difficult, and takes what seems to be ages, but you finally do it and find what you were looking for. A small hole in the wall was making that light you saw. Looking at the wall, you sigh as you decide you are doomed. When your breath reaches the wall, it's stone shatters. You see the nightime outside. At least you will be able to count the days now. You shut your eyes, and let the relaxation of sleep wash over you...
