The wolf stares intently at you for several seconds, saying nothing. Unable to read the beast's expression, you rise unsteadily to your feet. The silence finally becomes unbearable, and you dare to speak.

"Ah, hello?" you squeak. "Are you..."

Quite suddenly, the wolf spreads its front legs wide and breaks out in a huge grin. "Hallo, nice man!" he exclaims in a booming baritone. "I am Vlad! And you..." here he holds his paws forward, "you are my hero! Allowink Vlad to embrace you!"

With blinding speed, the wolf dashes forward, wraps his massive front legs around you, and lifts you off the ground in a bone-crushing hug. Then he sets you down and exclaims, "Friends forever are nice man and Vlad! Allowink Vlad to kiss you!"

"No!" you cry, but already the wolf is smothering your cheeks with wet, wolfish kisses.

It appears that you've made a new friend.
