The Storeroom

At the storeroom you go up to the leprechaun behind the main desk. "I'd like some leather for a pair of shoes, please." you say.

"Certainly, my furry friend" says the leprechaun stockkeeper "What measurements are ye looking for, laddie?

"About 7 feet long, 4 feet at the widest part."

"WHAT???" exclaims the stockkeeper "Bejaisus Wolfie, that would use up most of our stock! Who you be making them for?? A giant??"

"Dragon, actually"

"Whoever heard of a dragon wearing shoes?? Her claws will rip them to smithereens, and she'll be wanting another pair!!"

"But she really needs a pair to protect her sensitive feet!" you protest "The grass really tickles her!"

"Not my problem, laddie!" states the stockkeeper firmly. "I am not using up all my leather on a big-footed reptile that shouldn't be wearing shoes anyway! Now begone and stop wasting me time!"

With a sigh you walk out of the storeroom, wondering how you'll break the news to Gena...
