...A giant maze!

You fall out of the portal into a huge maze. You look up to see the portal you came through slowly closing with a spiral staircase leading up to it. You hear a familiar voice say: "Seems that my trap worked, Indy." "Jennifer!" you yell. "Yes. I managed to use a spell I found to conjure this trap. If you can make it up to the portal before it closes, you will be able to return to the castle. But if it closes, you will be trapped here forever!" Well it isn't going to help just standing around. What will you do?
