As you charge, you suddenly feel the tremble of earth, and skid to a halt as the ground beneath you cracks apart. Before you can react, you are thrown aside as something rips itself from the ground. You manage to roll as you land, coming to rest on all fours as you look back to see what you have to face now. A humanoid figure pulls itself to its feel, skin grey and worn, ripped with muscle. It is easily taller the castle, a giant. It shakes off dust as it looks around groggily. The look in its eyes is dull, but they focus on you easily. It reaches down to grab you, its movements remind you of a child trying to pick up an interesting bug it just saw. You dodge to the side as the massive hands hit ground, crushing anything caught underneath.
You make a run as the thing lifts its hands to its face to see if it managed to get you. You head for cover. You don't think you could take on a giant, strong you may be, but a FREAKIN GIANT!? You suddenly note the shadow, and look up as you see the massive hand coming down. You are not fast enough this time, and feel the massive weight come down on you, the fist grasping around you as it lifts you into the air. You feel the air being squeezed from your lungs, and struggle to free yourself. The giant looks at you with a childish interest. You get the feeling that it doesn't even know it's hurting you, you’re just some toy it's playing with. In desperation you bite down on the things finger, sinking your large canines in as deeply as you can.
The giant bellows, opening its hand and flailing it about in an attempt to dislodge you. You grab on and hold on as tight as you can, taking a life-giving breath through your nose. You unclamp your jaw, spitting the stony taste of the flesh from your mouth, before you feel the sudden rush of air. The giant’s hands come together, and there is a deafening crack as it claps, with you the center of impact...
