The old man replies, "I am Gandalf. I haven't cast the proper spell to turn you human yet. I am against evil. In this case the wrongdoer is the witch, not Countess Bathory. Bathory just hired the wrong person to do magic, so, unbeknown to her, she got a sneaky business deal stating that Dorka was allowed to do whatever with her magic as long as she was still employed. Also hidden in the contract was that Bathory was not allowed to fire Dorka without her permission or hurt her or hire anyone to fire or hurt her. This allowed Dorka to do whatever evil thing she desired. As you can probably tell, I won't change you again. Before you leave the castle, you thank Gandalf for ridding you and Jessie of Dorka and returning yourselves to your original forms. You and Jessie lived life happily.
