You decide to wait. The leprechaun'll probably walk down this hallway, and when he walks past the door, you'll flip the switch, burst out, and trap the leprechaun in the box, saving everyone single-handedly. There is absolutely no way this amazing plan could possibly go wrong. You pull a chair up to the door, then press your ear against the door to listen for footsteps. Currently all you can here is the horrible slithering sound of the dust, as it makes its way down the hall. Then you hear steps. They're soft, but are slowly getting louder. You ready the box in your right hand, and prepare to hit the switch with your left. You watch the bottom of the door, waiting until his shadow appears. You don't have to wait long, and the shadow appears at your feet. Here goes. You're about to save everyone's life, and prevent the end of the world as we know it. You're practically shaking with excitement. You burst out the door...
...and trip over the Leprechaun. You both lie stunned on the ground for several seconds. The Leprechaun looks a little bigger than you remember, and his jolly grin has been replaced by an evil grimace. He opens his mouth to say something menacing, but he's stopped by you slamming the box into his face, and all he gets out is "Ahm hmmve ymm now" before he's sucked, screaming and thrashing, into its cold confines. The cloud follows after him, rushing past you into the box. As the cloud swirls past you, you catch a glimpse of the Leprechaun. The dust is ripping past him so fast it's tearing his skin off - you both watch in horror as his fingers shrivel and disintegrate. Then the dust envelops his entire body, and you lose sight of the more gruesome details, which is a pretty good thing. You can't see anything anymore, the dust is so thick. Then everything goes black and you lose conciousness.
You jerk awake, and stagger backwards. You fall out the front door of the castle and down the stairs, landing in the wet mud. The rain falls heavily around you as you groggily sit up. You're back outside the castle, in the pouring rain. You stand, then walk inside. There's a box sitting on the ground. A small green box, about the right size to hold the skeleton of a Leprechaun. You sigh with relief - you did it. You pick up the box, and bounce it around in your hands. What now?
