Game 3 | Game 3 Outline |
You walk carefully into the strange room, looking around. There is isn't much to see. The walls are empty, and the only furniture seems to be in the centre of the room. You walk towards said furniture, finding a table and a huge weight scale, seemingly built for someone at least 5 times your size. You turn to the table, and see two large bottles, and a note written with curly handwriting.
'How much are you willing to lose or gain to escape?'
You have absolutely no idea what that means. You eye the bottles on the table suspiciously, then pick one up. He liquid inside is a bright orange, and it shimmers as you turn the bottle in your hands. You put it down next to the other one, which is coloured a vivid purple, and try to decide which to test first. You choose the orange one, and take a small sip from it. Nothing happens for several seconds, then you realise your clothes have gotten much more baggy, and loose on your body. You check yourself over, and find that you've lost weight! A lot of weight, to be exact. The skin on your arms is extremely loose, and you can see your bones through the thin layer of muscle. You feel your face, running your hands over your sharp cheekbones and jaw. This really isn't healthy. You step on the scale, which only goes a small distance before stopping at 20 Kgs. That drink made you anorexic.
You decide to test the other drink, to see if it can reverse the effects of the first. You take a large gulp of the purple liquid, and grin as your skin fills out again. You're quickly back to your normal weight, but you don't stop there. You keep on swelling, and your body starts to fill with fat. Luckily it stops after a few seconds, but by then you already have a decent beer belly. Your shirt is tight around your gut, and your arms have swelled slightly. You feel your face, grimacing as you feel your multiple chins and chubby cheeks, then check your weight again. The needle spins further this time, and stops at around 150 Kgs. Looks like the drinks are some sort of weight-gain/loss potion. That must be what the note meant - but how does that help you escape? You take a closer look at the scale, and find some numbers written on the side; 5 and 400. You scratch your head, then check the note again.
'How much are you willing to gain or lose...' You run that phrase through your head as you look at the numbers. "Gain or lose... Weight?" You poke your soft gut. Is that what the challenge is? Get as fat or thin as possible to open the exit? You look at the numbers again. "Five and Four hundred ... 5 and 400 ... 5 Kgs?" You stop. That is an absolutely preposterous weight. 5Kgs?! How the heck are you supposed to survive losing that much weight? You consider the alternative, which is gaining enough weight until you weigh at least 400Kgs, which is just as stupid. You probably wouldn't be able to move if you were that fat.
But you have to decide - lose or gain?
