hatching eggs isn't all that its cracked up to be.

...you lost track of how long its been as you lay on your back over a nest of five dragon eggs. You have spent the last few weeks staring at the wall because that is all you really can do while sitting on eggs waiting to hatch, which you have done for the entire period.

The dragon has helped...once or twice but free from the burden of watching the eggs she has slipped out to go off partying, catching food, and terrorizing near by villages.

You would argue but you were nearly immobile BEFORE you heroically offered to fatten up for this job and the dragon is a large, agile, predator.

You give a deep sigh and waste another hour watching the cave exit dreaming of escaping when you hear something crack beneath you.
