Game 3 | Game 3 Outline |
You start making your way back down the lower level of the castle, huffing and puffing all the way. Even if you are going down as opposed to up, you have just as much trouble descending the stairs, always feeling like your about to topple over into empty air with your heavy stomach hanging out in the open air. The fact that you can't even see the steps below you doesn't help either, your artificial horizon leaving you at the mercy of touch and feel to guide you down. Eventually though, you manage to navigate to the west side of the castle.
You can tell there is a distinct difference when you cross over. Not so much in appearance, though you can tell that Agatha's side of the castle is a little better kept, but the atmosphere just feels a bit colder, despite the layers of blubber insulating you. This feeling only increases as you find the entrance to the dungeons, a two man staircase which for you is a tight squeeze, your sides dragging against either side of the wall as you descend. What awaits you at the bottom is a track of tunnels lined with cells. They don't seem to have any occupants, though the piles of bones in a few make you wonder when it's last tenants were in.
Your sure the lab must be somewhere around here, and begin waddling along, keeping an eye out for any clues, as well as for anything else that may be in here, after all, Agatha mentioned minions. You also recall that Agatha had hidden her workshop behind a secret panel, and you have the feeling that Blathory may do the same, so you look out for anything that may have the potential of being a secret door. Your observations are quickly rewarded when you see an outline in the brickwork where water has dripped through, outlining a patch of the wall which is otherwise dry. You look around for a potential switch to open it. Pushing against other bricks around it, testing torches brackets, and looking for loose floor tiles. Finally, a tug on the chain of a wall manacle results in a distinct click, and suddenly you feel the floor and wall rotate, spinning around with you on it, and you find yourself...
