Staying close to the Beta

At this point you think that the best thing you can do is stick close to Cameron. The way things are running now, you'll be a target for the rage of the pack, more so then when you were just the omega. Now you may as well have a target on your back. Cameron believes you're innocent, and has the status in the pack to force everyone to back off, so you resolve not to be far off from him. Not that he would complain, since he does need someone to help him fit through doors at this point. You only hope Max get's here soon and figures out how to put things back to normal, if nothing else then for Cameron's sake since he has grown the most out of everyone.

So you send the rest of the day helping Cameron get to the kitchen to eat and to his room, the journey taking the rest of the day, and by the end of it he is exhausted, practically collapsing into his bed, which creeks dangerously. "Max will be able to figure this out," he groans through flabby cheeks. "Pretty soon, we'll all be back to our cheerful selves. Then you'll get to enjoy just being the fat omega again instead of what Bob thinks." His tone is trying to be reassuring, but you can hear a slight hint of fear in it. Cameron doesn't know what's going on any more then you do, but his rate of growth is such that he would be the first to experience any culmination of where this is heading. You're a little hesitant to think of it. Would the pack simply swell up until everyone was immobile? Or would they continue to balloon until they reached their limit and explode? Any why aren't you swelling with them? Why isn't the Alpha for that matter? Was this really a plot by someone outside the pack? Too many possibilities float through your mind with no real answers.

You leave Cameron to sleep and quickly run back to your room, locking the door behind you. You don't want to run into anyone or any unwelcome visitors at night until Max settles things. In the morning you'll head back and stick to Cameron like glue.
