You quickly look around the garage, there's a big red car, and many random items. The door to the laundry room is slightly open. You struggle for a few minutes to push it open enough to fit a small puppy. In the laundry room, the door to the living room is closed. You look around the garage for something that can help open a door, all you see are shovels, plows, giant bags of miscellaneous, tools, shelves full of books, and of course the car. You try to pick up these items, most of them are too heavy to hold in your mouth, and the light enough ones you can't get a good enough grasp on them with your tiny teeth. In the laundry room you look for something to get inside with, the doggy bed in there, there's a basket full of clothes, and the washer/dryer. You push the basket of clothes up against the washer.
While you are doing this you don't even see the door from the garage to the laundry room, until it is shut closed. You try your best to get on top of the basket without spilling, there's still a good 2 feet to get on top of the washer. You attempt to jump up, again and again, after the 5th try the basket falls over. You try to push the basket upside down, it'll be easier to jump off it if it's upside down. After attempting to push it upside down for a while, it falls over upside-down like you want, but it falls over right on top of you. It isn't hard to escape the basket, and soon you are on top of it again trying to jump on top of the washer. After jumping for what feels like 30 minutes you finally get a grasp.
The washer is much more smooth than the stairs and the fence, you feel your grasp slipping. You begin to panic trying not to lose the grasp, you start being able to pull yourself up. After pulling yourself up for a while, you are finally on top of the washer. You are now on the level of the door handle, you can reach it. On top of the dryer there are colorful boxes with words on them that you don't bother to read. You push the boxes off the dryer right on top of each other below the door handle. After they are all stacked you get on top of the stack and put your mouth on the handle. It's hard to twist the handle with a puppy's mouth. You try to put your small teeth on the handle and you eventually start twisting.
After getting the door open and entering the living room, you look outside again and see it is completely dark, about the same darkness as it usually is at your bedtime, the timer is gonna run out soon. You repeat the rules to yourself one more time. Play dog, keep Maria's affection, must be in Maria's presence. You begin to walk to find Maria when you hear the mother in the kitchen yell "Spot come here, I need to put you to bed!" You then hide behind a plant by the front door, you think to yourself if she sees you, she'll put you back in the laundry room, and then you'll definitely run out of time! You then see the mother walk out of the kitchen into the living room. You don't even know how to get around her, or where Maria is. This is where everything starts.
