Punishment

You wake up the next day on the floor of the laundry room. You look to see the door is still closed, and Maria is gone. You heard Maria talking to Jennifer, and then you hear her footsteps approach the laundry room. She opens the door and says "You are a very naughty dog Spot. I found what you did in my closet last night." You think to yourself, she must have discovered the poop in her closet over the night, hiding that didn't do much good. She looks down at you and says "You'll have lots of time to think about what you've done." And you see she is holding a bowl of dog food, she places the "food" down on the floor in the laundry room, and quickly slams the door. You are now trapped in the laundry room, which she described as a punishment for pooping in her closet. You look around the white room to see the amulet is still there, but according to Vakoligan that thing is useless. You walk over to the amulet, and pick it up in your mouth. Nothing happens. Now that you have time to look at it, the amulet is bigger than you are, or at least bigger than Spot is.

You start to feel hungry, you see the bowl of dog food and think, that's all you are going to eat for a whole year. And it still tasted terrible, how are you going to live like this for a whole year? A whole year of doing nothing but walking around the same house, four legs, not able to talk, being walked, being treated like a pet, eating gross food, at the mercy of your worst enemy, (Who apparently has a daughter now?), Maria being able to pick you up whenever you want, with nothing you can do about it, hardly able to even climb a flight of stairs, not being able to open a door, no opposable thumbs, sleeping on a doggy bed, HOW!? You think to yourself, if you are going to be a dog for a year, you can't be a pet. You need to get out of here. You look around the laundry room, both doors are closed, you could escape through the garage if you could get in. The basket you used to get in the first time is now on top of the washer, out of your reach.

You hear Jennifer yell "Spot I hope you are done eating we're gonna go soon!" And she immediately the laundry room door opens, and Maria's mom is there. She looks at the full bowl of dog food, and says "Well I guess you're just gonna not eat then." She walks over to you and picks you up before you can react, and you are now in her arms helpless. She walks over and places you back in the small dog carrier. She picks up the dog carrier and carries it to her car, it still feels like an earthquake when she is carrying it. You think as she places you in the car, where are you even going? The mom drives the car with you in the dog carrier for a few minutes until she comes to a sudden stop. She takes the dog carrier from the car and places it on the ground. You see trees in the small crevasse in the carrier. She opens the door, but she doesn't pick you up like she usually does. You walk out of the cage, confused, you see the black car and a dirt road, surrounded by trees. You are quickly picked up by Jennifer, who says "Hello Spot, if that's your real name."

You are confused by what she just said, does she know about Vakoligan? "I don't know what your mission is but I'm not gonna allow it to happen. Did he send you to spy on us?" You are suddenly frightened and try to escape her arms, but to no avail. "Don't deny it Spot. You have something to do with Vakoligan. I get a strange text saying to go to the pet store on the same day the box was destroyed? No way that's a coincidence. Tell me what you were sent for!" You look at her and try to talk again, but you still do nothing but bark at her. She gets a frustrated look and says "If you don't tell me, I'm gonna just leave you here in the forest." You think of what to do as she kneels down and places you back in the carrier, and closes the door. "This is your last chance. If you don't tell me I'm going to leave you here." You desperately try your best to talk.

"Bark!"

"Stop doing that. The rest of Vakoligan's minions could talk."

"Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark! Bark!"

You want to cry as you desperately try your hardest to speak but nothing happens. You see Jennifer stand up and walk to the car. She says "Fine. Don't tell me. I'll find out another way." before she drives away, leaving you alone in the middle of a forest inside a locked cage. And you are still hungry.
