You open your eyes to see a fence. At first you think it's a very tall fence, but when you look down and see the ground so close; you realize you are now shorter. In fact, it's hard to see anything; There's a big black and white thing blocking the bottom half of your vision. You aren't at all surprised, you already know what had happened. You have turned into a cow. You can't feel your feet, when you look down you see you now have hooves instead of arms and legs. Your arms and legs feel thinner and bonier, you almost feel like you're about to fall over, You feel heavy, very very heavy. You know you have at least 3 times as much weight as you had before, you know it'll be hard to walk. Feeling that you are now on four legs, you attempt to stand up on your back legs, you just fall back on four legs under your new massive weight.
"So this is the man who she found?" You hear a voice say. Your ears feel different; you can't tell where the sound is coming from.
You look back up and all you see is the seemingly gigantic fence. It's a picket fence. You can see through the fence. You see more fence through the fence, a few more meters away. You see a pen, with a sheep in it. The sheep is a little taller than you are. And it doesn't take much longer for you to realize you are now on a farm, as a cow. And the horror keeps coming as you feel the rest of your body, and realize you now have a full udder.
"Hello? I'm talking to you. Mrs. Cow?" You hear the voice say again, this time you can tell it's a woman's voice. You still can't tell where it's coming from. "Hey! Listen to me I'm right behind you!"
You try your best to turn around, but your new weight doesn't cooperate. You move one hoof at a time, slowly. You feel your udder shake whenever you move it just a little bit; You hate it. You eventually turn all the way around, which took at least 5 minutes of trying to balance on four legs and trying to get your udder to not jiggle; which you never succeed to do. You see a woman. She has blonde hair and and a red dress. Her skin is pale white. She looks at you and says "What? Are you not gonna introduce yourself?"
You fall for the trick. You look at her and try to mouth words. But your tongue, your teeth, and your vocal chords are now in different proportions. All you can get out of your mouth is a loud "Moooooooo."
"I guess you can't speak, either, typical human. I guess you don't know me. My name is Lexica, and I was the one who created this curse."
At those words, you know what you want to do. You want to kill this woman. If this curse that has destroyed your life was created by her, she needs to pay for it. Of course you know you can't even get close to her; it just took you over 5 minutes to just turn around and face her, there's no way you could her whenever you are in this cow body.
"I see you've already met my curse. Okay I'll tell you what, just say 'Yes' and I'll life the curse."
"Moooo." You can't do it. "Moo! Moo! Moo!" You can't mouth any words beside Moo. "MOOOO!" You now want to cry while desperately trying to speak, you feel broken. "MOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" You scream at the top of your voice, nothing words. You can't say anything through a cow's vocal chords and mouth. Your tongue takes up almost half of the space in your mouth, and you can't move it fast enough to make any different sounds. And your teeth are twice as big as they were before, there's no way you could possibly know how to speak with them. "Mooooo!!!" You keep trying, but you know it's impossible.
Lexica just laughs and says "Okay, I guess you don't want the curse to be lifted, if you did you would speak."
You don't know how to react to her tease, every second you want to hurt her more.
"In all seriousness, I can lift this curse from you. The original curse was just an expiriment to see if she'd ever find love; I didn't even know her name. Now that she did, there's no reason for the curse to exist anymore."
"Moo?" You still feel embarassed hearing that word come out of your mouth, but it's all you can do.
"Usually these curses can br broken by the victim just saying something I say, but in your current state, you can't really do that, so we'll have to do something more complicated. The curse attacks a person's destiny, it makes it so that something happens to that person no matter what they do, it's written in their destiny so they can't avoid it."
You grunt annoyingly at her, you figure that's the only thing you can do besides Moo.
"Tomorrow is New Years Eve, for normal people that's just a holiday. But for us, it's the only day of the year where you can change your destiny. We can use that to change your fate."
"Today is December 30th, tomorrow is New Years Eve. I will cast a spell at exactly 11:50 PM tomorrow that will last until midnight. During that 10 minutes you will have the power to switch bodies. All you have to do is make eye contact with another creature to switch bodies with it. There's a human farmer that owns this farm, you must switch bodies with him."
"BUT BE VERY CAREFUL, THE BODY YOU ARE IN WHEN THE 10 MINUTES END WILL BE YOUR PERMANENT BODY. SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU MAKE EYE CONTACT WITH ANOTHER ANIMAL, YOU JUST HAVE ONE SHOT AT THIS, You don't wanna get trapped in another animal's body; I can promise you that there are worse animals on this farm to get stuck as, than a cow. So be careful during those ten minutes."
