Built to swim

You don't feel any pain as the transformation begins, but that doesn't make what is happening to you any less grotesque.

An itch spreads over your torso. You scratch your right breast, only to find in horror that the skin is peeling right off! Not all of it, however, and it doesn't completely separate from your body. The skin peels downwards but stops as it forms a line, following the curvature of the underside of your breast, where it has become rather firmly attached. You stare, disgusted, at the strange flap of skin that lines your breast from the bottom to the nipple. Examining it closer, you're shocked to realize that the skin is extremely thin, although not fragile at all, and it is a translucent green, fibrous and veiny. Almost - fin like?

You feel dizzy. The fibrous green spreads elegantly a small space more over your breast. You exhale and the thin, aquatic fin that has developed moves slightly in your breath, stimulating your breast and providing you with the first pleasurable experience you've had since you came to this miserable place. You think you would be sick, if not for the development that a similar fin has been revealed under your left breast as well. And that itchy feeling is coming back.

You scratch your arm, revealing another fibrous fin that appears much in the same way that the ones under your breasts had. You realize that your hands have become slightly webbed with the same finny substance. You tug at the skin peeling off your ears. Once again, the skin doesn't detach completely, only elongates slightly and thins into the translucent green fin that you are all too familiar with.

This is all too much for you, and you scramble to try and get to your feet and get the hell out of here. But you become clumsy, and it seems that when you try to move one foot the other one automatically follows. You look down and in horror realize that a fin has grown between your legs, locking them together. You gasp as you feel a tightness pulling your legs together - the fin contracting. Soon your legs are totally bound to one another.

The itching feeling that had been accompanying your transformation intensifies greatly in your legs. Clawing at your legs in an attempt to relieve the itching, you discover that the skin there is peeling as well. In anger and frustration, you yank at the sagging skin. To your immense horror, the skin peels of gracefully in one whole motion, and what is left of your legs has become a shiny, scaly green tail. Without feeling it, you realize that your feet have become fins.

Peeling off some more skin at your hips reveals that they will be another set of fins. A sharp, quick but intense pain occurs when you scratch at your neck, because instead of the skin remaining attached but in fin form, it detaches completely. You take a deep breath - through your neck? - and realize that you have acquired gills. Rubbing the area between your nose and forehead, you peel yourself yet another fibrous fin. You touch your hair and discover it has changed into an odd consistency - somewhere between individual strands of protein and a fibrous cloak. You examine it closer and realize that each individual strand indeed has a slight but noticeable green webbing.

You feel an odd sensation at your back. Twisting your head, you discover that you have grown a large, delicate green dorsal fin, which runs from between your shoulder blades, down your back, over your butt (or rather, you think, the scaly mound where your butt used to be) and stops halfway down your tail.

Exhausted and confused from the transformation, you flop around helplessly. The Countess changes the floor into a deep pool, and grins wickedly as you flick your tail in anger and yell obscenities at her.
