A different search.

As much as you hate to admit it, you are in no shape to clear the passage yourself, it could take weeks, months even all by yourself. But seeing what Angela has done, she could probably get it done far quicker. The Castle looks almost brand new, in two days she has patched all the leaks in the roof, refitted the windows with glass frames, swept and mopped all the floors, hung curtains, hung portraits, re-cobbled the courtyard, weeded and seeded the gardens... and that just the stuff you notice. So you decide to let her do her thing and get it done.

While you don't mind being waited on hand and foot, Angela is... a bit to emotional for your taste. She has an extreme view on her own self worth based on her ability to serve, falling into crying fits and depression at the slightest hint that she is not needed, and blissful and happy when she feels she is of use, but the emotional rollercoaster leave you feeling reserved about refusing her when she believes she is helping.

Still you can't help but feel sorry for her, trapped here after her master died. You wonder what really happened, and so begin searching the library for answers. Angela makes sure to bring you large trays of exquisite snacks and tea to enjoy while you read. It's far too much, but again she becomes depressed when you hint at this, so you accept them every time. Every meal is like this too, with far too much food, but you eat it at her insistance on keeping you health and your energy up, but it so much you mostly feel lethargic. But you don't have much choice but to humor her, as when she shuts down, she shuts down completely, and you need her to clear the passage.

While she is doing that, you are trying to find some information on her, who her master was. Maybe you can find some way to bring her some closure or peace, and let her move on.
