Game 3 | Game 3 Outline |
As you chew and swallow, you are met with a contrary sensation. You feel the appetite, but at the same time, you feel an opposition to eating like you've had your fill. "Hey, do you feel full," you ask Cornelius. He takes a bite. "Um... no, not really, though to be honest, I don't feel hungry either. I'm just doing a little comfort eating I guess. I suppose that's not a great thing to do anyway." he offers the leg to you to bite out of, and your conflicted with the feeling of wanting to eat and the feeling of not wanting to eat another bite. Wait a minute, you look to Ed, who is still stuffing his face, then look at your stomach, which is bulging out. "He Ed, stop eating, you've had enough," you say, realizing that Ed has likely filled your stomach, which is why you don't feel like eating. Ed ignores you , grabbing a slab of ribs and tearing strips of meat off of it. You move out of the smoke house, and feel the heaviness of your stomach, combined with your own feeling of wanting something to eat. Ed polishes off the ribs, spitting out bones, before looking back to the smoke room. "Still hungry," he whines, reaching for the door, you move back. "No, you've had more then enough." you say, and start walking out the kitchen, feeling the tightness of your stomach, it's uncomfortable, and you want to sit down and digest, at the same time you feel your own appetite, as you hadn't really eaten. Your guessing this has something to do with how your body works now, you have your own appetite, but share a stomach, so even though Ed has eaten more then enough, you still feel hungry because you didn't eat. And Cornelius didn't feel anything. It's too confusing, maybe you are the one feeling it because your the center head. And if Ed is just instinct, maybe he's not even registering that he's full either and thinks he's still hungry. That's going to be a problem.
You head back to the library, and Cornelius picks up his book and reads, while Ed growls about being hungry until you find a picture book for him. However, since you have no arms to work with after that, you are left without any entertainment, so sit down, feeling tired from the food sitting in your stomach, and with nothing to do but watch your other heads read, you start to nod off until finally you fall asleep.
