Surely this will have no negative repercussions.

"You know, Ed seems to be catching onto a few things," you say to Cornelius, "If we can get him trained, maybe we can all be on board with the exercise."

"Surely you jest," says Cornelius, "He's only motivated by food and fun, he has no sense of long term gratification."

"Yeah, he's the Id, remember, and he's just as much a part of me as you." you retort. "Look, we need to make this work, and that means helping each other get along, you get that, but he doesn't, so let's help him understand."

"Oh, all right," says Cornelius, "But don't say I didn't warn you."
