Hey, you're not dead

Slowly you look around you. Your furry self seems to be in one piece and the tree has been launched into orbit.

You would say that all in all this qualifies as a job well done.

...until you see the three dogs coming to investigat the explosion. You reconize them to be the same hunting hounds as before.

You stare at them. They stare at you. They see you have put on some weight since your last encounter and lick their chops.

They take a step forward.

You gulp and take a step backward.

They fall into a quick jog.

You fall into an all out run.

Before when you were fit and trim you out ran these dogs with ease. Now with 3 or 4 inches added to your waist line YOU are the one running out of breath.

You can feel yourself slowing down. Soon the dogs will overtake you...
