Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie

Smiling nervously and not turning your back, you move from the front yard to the back yard. You are surprised to find the backyard sunnier and richer in vegetation: flowers of every color of the rainbow greet your wondering eyes. To the left are apple trees, and to the right, peach trees. You wonder what peach trees are doing in Eastern Europe.

You inspect the apples, but they feel soft and mealy between your fingers. You then inspect the peaches, and they feel firm yet ripe enough to eat. You practically engorge two.
