Why do make such horrible wishes?

You go straight to your suitcase and begin grabbing everything you can, as fast as possible. You need to get away from this place. If you stay here any longer, you're afraid the leprechaun'll twist a few more wishes and make you fat again. You can't let that happen. Once everything's packed, you call the leprechaun. He catches sight of your suitcase, and he raises his eyebrow.

"Ye be going somewhere, M'laddie?" he inquires.

"Yeah - away from here."

The leprechaun sits in silence for a few seconds. Then he speaks up again. "Ye called me. What would you like to wish for?"

"I'm releasing you."

The leprechaun's eyes widen. Then his mouth stretches extra wide, and he starts giggling. That can't be good. You ignore him, then pick up your suitcase and walk out the door and down the hall. As you walk, you can hear the leprechaun's laugh slowly getting louder. And louder. You start walking faster. By the time you reach the front door, the leprechaun's laughter is defeaning, and you're running for your life. You're not sure what he'll do now that he's free, but you've realised that it may have been your worst wish yet.

You reach the area where the team has parked their cars, but all of them are locked. You should've grabbed Rufus' keys before you left. You think about going back, but when you look back to the lodgings, they're shaking and you can hear screams from inside. Oops. Terror overtakes you and you run for the only other refuge you can think of - the castle.

You burst through the doors and head for one of the upper floors. By the time you reach it, the screams have subsided, but you still feel guilty. Who knows what the leprechaun will do to the archaeology team? You push the thought from your mind and continue walking. You pass a window that looks down at the lodgings, and you can't help but catch a glance. It's bathed in green dust. But it looks much more menacing than you remember - it's alive. It writhes and snakes around the building, bursting through windows and doors. Movement by one of the windows catches your eye, and you see someone jump out it and start running. But they don't get far. The dust chases them, them grabs them and drags them, kicking and screaming, back to the building and through the window. You shiver and back away from the window. What have you done?
