You skim through the instructions quickly, taking in the most important points. Apparently the device has some sort of holographic display, which you can use to fine-tune your destination. You pick up the watch and put it on your wrist, then go to put the letter in your pocket when you notice a P.S written on the bottom in the leprechaun's handwriting. You sigh, then read through it carefully.

'ONE MORE THING: Once you leave the Alpha Reality, I've rigged the device so that you can't return. This is a one-way trip. I've also set it so that none of the available realities contain you as you are now - in each one, you are different.

So here are your choices: you can either use the device, knowing full well that you can never return home, and travel through the alternate universes, seeking adventure,

OR,

You could stay here, and we continue with what we were doing before. I can change your mind so that you enjoy it, and you'll be essentially immortal. Personally, I think this is the better deal.
