Arms Race

What Bryan has noticed that suddenly comes to your attention is that you have grown two new arms. But that's not all. While you and Bryan are pondering this new development, Takeshi stops laughing. He tackles Bryan and begins tickling his feet.

Bryan immediately dissolves into laughter. But here your situation proves an advantage. With the benefit of your extra arms, you're able to pull Takeshi away from Bryan, just enough to let Bryan escape the executive's tickling fingers.

Bryan recovers his wits quickly. Although Takeshi is strong, just as he finds and begins to tickle your barefeet Bryan chants, "Kutchy-kutchy-kutchy-kutchy-kutchy!!!" several times over. Takeshi is stunned, then overwhelmed by the tickling sensations as he falls back and howls. Quickly you and Bryan transfer the leash to Takeshi.

"Wow," says Bryan, "I feel normal again, but we can't just leave while you have four arms. But if we cure Takeshi, I don't know if I want to grow extra arms myself. And who knows what will happen to you?"

Takeshi has recovered enough to speak rationally, at least to you. "Don't let me see your friend," he says. "If I do, I'll only feel an overpowering urge to tickle him again and then he'll have to subdue me. That won't get us anywhere. Assuming you want to lose the extra arms, there is a way for all of us to be returned to normal. Will you two accompany me to a board meeting I have scheduled?"
