A lot of people have asked me why I don't list movies. Fine. I'm now
listing movies. Now it's your job to send me movies to list...
- ...Starring William Hurt and Blair Brown. Directed by Ken Russell, script by Paddy
Chayefsky (from a novel by him, evidently under the pseudonym Sydney Aaron). Hurt plays a
researcher performing experiments in altered states of consciousness, using mind-altering
drugs and a sensory deprivation tank... It's a very grim, nihilistic, depressing movie,
but hey, it's a transformation story for sure. [See Spoiler Section for more info.] -115

[Video: Avid; 1997; $9.99] [Amazon]

is released this December in theaters. -161 (98/02/14)
- A rather scary movie... with Oliver Reed, Karen Black, and Bette Davis. [See Spoiler Section for more info.] -115

fascinating,potentially metaphorical ways... -121

fish. Only the 1 transformation, done in animated silhouette. -135 (98/02/07)

the Shaggy Dog (1987). -135 (98/02/07)
- The original movie was remade as a Disney TV movie 2-3 years ago, this time with
morphing transformations instead of lap dissolves & cutaways. (Also, the cold-war spy
villains were replaced by a jewel thief) -173 (98/04/11)
[Video: Pennsylvania Amer. Assn.; 1986; $14.99] [Amazon]
- I see that you have listed two known werewolf movies, but there is one that was made for
television originally adapted from Stephen King's "Cycle of the Werewolf" which
was changed to "Silver Bullet". I felt that the role of Reverand Lowe (Everett
McGill of Twin Peaks) did a good job of showing the internal struggle of lycanthropy
although how the character became as such was never convered. -161 (98/02/14)
[Video: MCA; 1997; $14.99] [Amazon]
- Dirk Benedict is slowly turned into a king cobra throughout the film. -120
